Chateau Musar

Chateau Musar vineyards are located in the Bekaa Valley at an altitude of around 1,000 metres. They cover 180ha and are gravely soils on a limestone base. The Bekaa valley is almost frost and disease free with long mild summers and rainy winters. Chateau Musar wines date back to the 1930's.

Tasting

Intense burgundy in colour. The nose is full of ripe juicy black and red fruits with christmas cake spices, oak and figs. The palate is abundant with plums, cherries, blackcurrants and damsons, balanced with good acidity and fine tannins. Complex and well integrated oak - long finish.
